1965 Volkswagen Sunroof Beetle Super Cute Ruby Red Coupe

1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

Neat old bug. Resprayed the original Ruby Red but the paint is not the greatest. Motor and tranny original as far as I can decipher. Runs and shifts and stops great. Radio, horn, wipers, lights, speedo, odometer, and blinkers work. Heater levers work. Parking brake works. Didn't try washers yet but the bottle and hoses are installed. Original interior is good. A couple holes and some staining in headliner. Seats are real good. Carpet is good in front but weathered in back storage area. Three door panels are real nice. Passenger door is installed but the vinyl shrunk on it. Sunroof works great. Pop outs and door windows work nicely. Front glass has a couple rock chips. Back glass good. Real new tires. Rubber around windshield, rear glass, and door glass is original but in good shape. Door seals, sunroof seal, trunk and decklid seals are new. New light sockets, running boards, bumpers and some new chrome trim installed during paint job. All 6 volt. Good battery. Front sheet metal looks like it has never been bumped. I can tell it has been bumped in the back before. I do see some rust in the rear wheel wells. Front wheel wells look good. Pans don't look perfect but are in good shape. Car sat for 20 to 25 years before getting back on road a couple years ago so it might only have the 78K miles shown on the speedo. New oil cooler seals and engine main seal installed when I installed the new clutch last fall. Paint on the wheels is not great. Couple of tiny dings/dents here and there. Nice unmolested car that is a blast to cruise in with no worries!!!
