Subaru engine was completely gone through before installation. Interior
This Westy is ready to go camping! Upgraded Honda front seats and new retractable seat belts are super comfortable and practical. The entire interior has been fully gone through, new wiring and plumbing where needed, new sound proofing in areas and insulation in walls. A new auxiliary battery kit powers the interior with a built in trickle charger for campsite hookup. Inside the bus - includes basic tool kit, jack & lug wrench, front privacy curtain, shore power extension cord and water hose, H20 on-board tank filler attachment, extra fuses.

Condition
Subaru engine runs excellent! New paint is a quality base/clear that should protect the bus for many years; however, there are rough areas of visible bodywork and paint imperfections in places which does not show well in pictures, etc. - this is a "drivers-quality" restoration. Dash has repairs and is rough in areas cosmetically - this is a 40+ year old vintage Westfalia and we cannot list every little imperfection, it has wear in places associated with its age, but overall a beautiful Westy that is ready to hit the road! Odometer is only 5-digits - so true mileage is really unknown.

Finally
Sold as-is, no warranty. We keep the license plates in Florida, so if you plan to drive the bus home you’ll need to bring a license plate; however, we have only driven the bus locally and cannot say how it will handle either way on a long cross country road trip, shipping is always recommended.
