This 1984 VW Westfalia (Wolfsburg Edition) is the NICEST Camper I have ever owned. If you are looking for a near mint condition camper with loads of character, tons of options, Ice cold AC, with factory 3 rows of seating, YES, that’s right, (removable 2nd row bench seat, Then look NO further, Here she is! This Westfalia is a factory Wolfsburg edition, from what I have read, only comes in this two tone brown paint scheme and has the 3 rows of seating with the very easy to remove 2nd row bench seat. The factory “Wolfsburg Edition” emblems where a little worn out but I do have brand new ones ordered that have not made their way to me from Germany, before I made this post. They will go with the bus however when they arrive! This beast has only 120k miles and it shows! Its factory 2.0 liter radiator cooled 4 cylinder motor runs amazingly and has all new AC compressor and lines, along with new plugs, wires, distributor and more. It also comes with a box full of new mechanical parts and misc interior and exterior parts! The interior has been completely overhauled by myself with retro brown plaid fabric from the 70s! Its literally in perfect condition because it has just been done! You can scroll down to the bottom of the pictures, to see the bus how I purchased it from its prior owners! The bus was in fantastic shape and had a complete body/paint/mechanical restoration less then 5 years ago, by the prior owners, but I own an upholstery shop here in Wilmington NC, and cant leave anything “good enough” alone! I reupholstered all the seats and cushions except the removable 2nd row bench bc it was literally in mint condition, plus I was not planning on ever installing it! I added the floating “wood” flooring and matching front floor mats. That flooring is easily removable to quickly add the 2nd row bench seat if you needed to. The front seats where both missing one armrest each so I actually left both sides off but still have them both with the new upholstered covers! (see in pic below) Those, along with lots of other optional parts, will come in a box with the van! The exterior paint is in amazing condition along with all of the door jams. The prior owners had planned to keep the bus forever, and had a shop here in town do a complete, “no expense spared” paint job! They payed over $10,000 To “Fixed Restoration” here in Wilmington for the new base coat clear coat PPG paint job. It was obviously done right, removing all windows and weather stripping, and replacing withall new seals.Obviously it still looks amazing, with zero rust including undercarriage and frame! The pop top is a color matched rhino liner as well for an extremely durable tough finish. The LED lighting is all controlled remotely and adds very cool lighting especially at dawn and dusk, or when camping for plenty of mood lighting if wanted. All curtains work and still there, along with all the snap in privacy curtains and the snap in nets! The tent pop-up is the original one, and is actually in pretty incredible condition considering its age, but it does have a couple of small water stains, and the bug net at the front has a couple of holes in it. The zippers all work flawlessly however and even the net still zips and unzips just the way it should. The stove works, and still has propane in the tank, and the fridge can run both with the battery and by the electric plug when plugged up to an extension cord! The water tank is there as well, and the water pump does turn on though I myself have not filled the water tank! All the interior lights work as they should along with all the external lights, including the headlights, taillights, parking lights, and the turn signals. The Rear AC blows ice cold, and the heat and defrost work just great up front as well. It does have an aftermarket CD player that works great, and all the speakers sound amazing too. It does have Bluetooth options as well with a mic near the gauge cluster, but I myself never synced my phone to try it! Horn blows, and the only button that did not work was the rear defrost, and I didn’t ever look into it! The bus came with factory 14” steel wheels with the chrome VW circle hubcaps you can see in the “before” pics. I did buy brand new chrome hub caps if the 14” wheels are more your style, However the bus does come with the very nice 18” wheels and tires installed. They do not rub or scrub when driving or turning. This bus runs and drives as good as it looks. I have owned many many Westfalias, old and new, and this bus, by far, is the nicest one I have ever owned! If you would like to see it in person or even drive before the auction ends, feel free to call/text me, to set up a time. Also feel free to ask me any questions this add does not answer! My name is Brian and my cell is 91O-52O-77five8.You will absolutely not regret buying this Camper, but please do not buy if your are not into attention! This bus creates attention everywhere!
