1989 Volkswagen Cabriolet White/Blue Convertible

1989 Volkswagen Cabrio Additional Info:

White body with dark blue convertible top

5 speed manual transmission

Sharp handling and lots of fun to drive

Paint and body are in good shape with a little rust along the bottom of the windshield gasket and a small patch on the driver side door. Car has been kept under a cover.

Runs well and has a current Virginia inspection, driven occasionally for enjoyment but not a daily driver.

Odometer stopped some years ago at about 119,000 miles. Actual mileage estimate is 130,000.

White leather and cloth upholstery is in good condition with no tears.

Convertible top, timing belt and radiator were all replaced within the last 5 or 6 years.

Car has an aftermarket radio/ CD player but the antenna is broken.

Engine has a little oil leakage at the valve cover gasket, and doesn’t burn oil

The air conditioner and clock do not work.

Has new driver’s side door handle.

Exhaust passed inspection but has some age on it.

Tires are in excellent shape with little tread wear.

This is an attractive, mood lifting, fun to drive little VW convertible in very good condition.
