California Type III Volkswagen Squareback 1969

1969 Volkswagen Type III Squareback Additional Info:

I am a professional pilot and aircraft mechanic owning this car for more than 15 years. This Square has been a California/Arizona car for the most part of its life when I bought it in the Mojave Desert. The former owner inherited it from his dad hence the pin-striping. That’s the reason I was just hesitant to do anything to its paint rather than deep cleaning and sealing it. IMHO the Square has just the right patina.
