Up for sale is a pretty sweet VW bus. This bus looks great and gets attention everywhere it goes. Runs and drives great and ready to hit the beach with a new owner. This bus is not perfect. It does have some rust in the usual spots but you want fall through for another 20 years. You could either fix and restore or just rock it as it is. Nice sized dent in the rear passenger side air vent as seen in the pictures. Probably could be popped out but I never tried. Paint still shines up nicely and looks great but does have some imperfections as to be expected. Interior is really clean. The seats are near perfect. Headliner has some tears but still in tact.
The 1600 dual port engine runs strong. New carburetor, Bosch blue coil, .009 distributor. Engine just tuned. Starts up nicely and runs great.
Middle bench and rear bench seats are original and in near perfect condition.
Brakes are good. Tires are good with lots of tread.
Newly painted original 14 in rims with new chrome hubcaps.
Original front and rear cargo mats.
New custom curtains
Dynamat insulation throughout bus
Brand new Empi roof rack.
Newer front door panels.
Rust- There is some rust underneath the front windshield as seen in the pictures. Nothing horrible but could be fixed or just rock it like it is. The front floor boards have a couple small rust holes (you can see the pictures with a razorblade to scale). There is some surface rust throughout the bus but nothing major. Frame is solid with no major rust.
