Cruisin Classics is lucky enough to offer for you a 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible. All of the hard work and heavy lifting of a restoration has already been done for you. It is blessed with a remanufactured 2000cc engine and a driver quality paint job. It shows White today but was born with Orange. This particular Super Beetle was manufactured by Karmann (Badge on the passengers front quarter) which was the plant that produced mostly the convertible Beetles. While... the car does show minimal signs of wear, the restoration and low mileage kept this classic in great condition to drive every day. Starting the car takes one turn of the key and you are off to the raceswell???not the races but anywhere else you want to go. It has been babied by the previous owner and deserves a good home. The convertible top is an easy manual operation with 2-latches and a lift up is all it takes (less than 10 seconds) to get it down. Once down, the cloth, snap-on boot is another easy operation. (1-minute). The engine runs very smooth as it should and it is matched with a manual 4-speed transmission. The operation of the clutch and stick is a smooth as butter operation. For those of you that might have an issue with the manual part of the transmission will have this VW up and moving forward in no time. Easy Operator. Inside, the bucket seat interior will give you plenty of foot-room. The back seat has safety-belts as well as the front. The back seat will also fold down for a little storage area behind the front seats. Between the seats in front are the heater (DEFROST/HEAT and TEMP levers) along with the E-Brake. All of the gauges work along with the Factory AM/FM Stereo. The tires and wheels are ready for the road today. (165/15 front and back). The wheels are stock steel and are also of course 15-inch. This really is a special car that will give the drop-top fans something to consider. It is a great running and looking convertible and for the trifecta...a blast to drive! This will not last long and is ready to be driven away TODAY.The sale is subject to the following conditions and representations.
