1966 Vw Beetle Bug Volkswagen

1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Standard Additional Info:

1966 VW Bug Running driving restoration project you can drive as you go! Bought as part of estate sale. Car had been sitting for some time - replaced points, wires, fuel pump, cleaned out tank and she fired up nice. Very peppy little bug - 1300 cc motor - only year 1966!
Dashboard and interior all original - lights work - signal switch works on left turn - right side stays on. Please check out my posted you tube videos for a better understanding.
Floors are so so - see videos- previous owner did some patching with thin metal or aluminum- not how I would have done it but car can be driven like this for some time. Right rear inner fender well was also patched with thin metal and will need attention.
Exterior looks pretty good as you can see - drivetrain is strong - rides nice - right frontbtire has a “Flat spot” from sitting flat for 10 years so it will need a tire or two.
Any way windows go and down smooth - you could drive it home if your local - otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it - but probably worth in parts alone my “buy it now” - Cute running driving bug.
