Classic 1965 VW Beetle

1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

Classic 1965 VW Beetle. Ruby red exterior with black interior. Solid floors, no rust which is extremely hard to find on a Northeast car.

Actual mileage unknown - working odometer shows slightly over 84,000 miles but engine code (AE) designates a 1970 to 1973 vintage 1600cc engine. No idea when engine was replaced. The car has been painted at least once. Remember thisis a 50 year old car, so there are a few nicks, scratches, character marks and blemishes, but not much more than my 10 year old daily driver. I am probably being overly critical, but I want the new owner to have realistic expectations and perhaps be even pleasantly surprised.

Just underwent a mechanical refresh to include new tie rods, new steering damper, new brakes (incl. hoses and fluid), front end alignment, tune up, carb idle and pointsadjustment and new battery. Running/stopping great and ready for a summer of fun.
