1991 Volkswagen Golf GL Additional Info:

I have for sale a Mk2 91 Golf, with a 5 speed manual transmission, the car has a 93 MK3 2.0 engine fitted, this was done before I owned the car, I was told by the previous owner that the engine has about 80,000 and the body has 180,355 the tacho hasn't worked since I've owned it, I only put about ten miles a day on the car, to and from work, and I've owned the car about a year and a half. The car runs and drives and is very good on gas, it is a Minnesota car so there is rust, but it's not too bad for a car of this age, the car is pretty solid from what I can see, I recently had the rear brakes replaced, but it does feel like they could use a bleed, but they are working, the paint work is showing signs of it's age now, and the previous owner for some strange reason removed the headliner, but apart from that the interior is in great shape, it comes with a CD radio and a sun roof, the car has been very reliable to me, and started every day, it sometimes does a weird random rev when at traffic lights, but settles down and is fine, and usually needs five to ten minutes to warming up before driving due to the automatic choke, recently I have noticed a small leak coming from the radiator, it doesn't look serious and I just check and top up every couple of weeks, I had a new battery fitted last November, and have run the car year round, it's been a non smoking car, and has been fun to drive.
