1966 VW Beetle ***Restored California Car***

1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Deluxe Additional Info:

This wonderful "Bahama" blue beetle was built in April 1966. It was sold new by Van Wyk VW in San Bernardino California in June 1966. It was restored in California about 15 years ago and according to the previous owner it was a totally rust free car. The motor is a rebuilt 1500cc that was produced in July 1968. All mechanical items were rebuilt or replaced using OEM parts or from Wolfsburg West. This was by all means a "no expense spared" restoration". It was professionally repainted it's original Bahama Blue color that it left the factory with.

The Coker Wide Whitewall tires are brand new and the tires were properly balanced when installed. The Blaupunkt AM/FM radio was also restored to perfection. This car is equipped with front & rear seatbelts, and pop out rear windows.

I just had a complete service performed by a local VW specialist which included all new fuel lines, new battery, oil & filter change, valves adjusted, and new plugs. This car has been converted to 12 volts and the generator was replaced with an alternator. It also comes with the original owner's manual, tool kit, jack, and three sets of keys. This car is fully capable of being driven home no matter how far you live from Maine. I will be happy to pick up at the Portland airport. Everything works just like it should including the heater!
