1974 Super Beetle convertible project

1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Wolfsburg Additional Info:

Bought this as a project and have too much going on to ever get to it.
The good: original California car spent it's whole life in California. Rust free except area shown in front of battery/behind passenger seat(repair panel included). Solid straight body. No evidence of mods or accidents. Most trim is there. Was all together, just pulled the radio and speedo a few weekends ago. Wiring all appears solid and unmolested. Heater channels solid. Doors open and shut smoothly and do not sag at all.
The bad: originally Ravanna Green painted red about 20 years ago. Needs new top. Hasn't ran in many years but does roll, steer, and go in gear fine. Front tires hold air but rears do not. Needs restoration. Needs all weatherstrips.
I took pics to show as much as I could so you know the condition. This is a great starting point for restoration project. So few of these are still found rust free. Save all the hours of metal.work and welding. Car is clear with California DMV but has not been registered in so long it is out of the system. I have the title signed over to me that I will provide along with bill of sale.
Obviously not running or driving and sold as-is. Will not arrange shipping. Must pick up.
