1975 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Panel Van Additional Info:
1975 VW Bus T2 Transporter Panel Van 31,000 Original Kilometers Un-restored
This prime example of a bay window bus panel van likely was in service in Germany as a fire truck until it was exported to Holland and given a Porsche racing tribute livery, like the factory race support vehicles used by Porsche. The wig-wag light/siren switch is still present on the dash and the mount for the cherry on top of the roof is still present.
Imported from Holland in 2016 with Porsche Livery by Stonegate Auto Sales, based out of GA and was shipped to us by Specialty Vehicle Transport. Comes with a clear IL title and is currently registered and insured as we do take it out for shows and local events.
Although this example has never been restored, the doors would appear to have been re-painted at some point and there is touch up on most every body panel. There are hundreds of photos of the vehicle both inside and out that verify the integrity and originality of the vehicle. You will be hard pressed to find one that is in this condition with so much original documentation present.
There is wear and tear, but again, for being over 40 years old, it looks and drives better than most late model new cars.
Be sure to check out the gallery along with tons of underside photos showing all the nooks and crannies that back up the originality, not to mention how clean the van is.

Drivers logs that came with the vehicle as well as the very original nature inside and out, we do believe the mileage to be original at roughly 31,000 kilometers or just over 19,000 miles.
We put on about 1000 of those miles driving it to and from Porsche events since 2016.
Other than being slow like models of this era, it drives like it is new. Yes, the Industrial Type 1 1600cc engine is original and what European models received standard, rather than the more powerful Type 4 engine.
The only work we have done was to replace the ignition coil and engine bay foam gasket. Engine and gearbox also were serviced with Brad Penn and appropriate GL4 gear oil.
Van also came with a very nicely done partition to close off the rear cargo area from the front - however not original, it was done in very good taste and is included with the van.
Although the van is ready to be driven anywhere, we would highly recommend enclosed transport to preserve the vehicle's prime condition.
Inspections are welcome during normal business hours. It currently sits in the LN Engineering showroom.
