1962 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

This beautiful 1962 Beetle has been fully restored down to every little detail. From top to bottom you'll see the incredible attention to detail that went into this project. The chassis is as clean as the body and everything has been painted to match the body. You will not find anything hidden with any undercoating on this car. Other than being lowered, the car has been left to maintain a stock Factory appearance. The car is quite the little sleeper until you bump the key. That's when there is no more hiding the fact that she's all business! The moment you hit the key the brand new 2276 stroker comes to life. The Deep tone of the exhaust is like nothing you would expect from a little 62 bug. There is a long list of performance upgrades that I would be more than happy to discuss with serious buyers. If you'd like to see more pictures, please feel free to ask and I would be happy to send them. Just to be clear, this car is a monster and it is not even close to the beatle you learned how to drive on with your grandmother. It's very loud and it's very fast. It's a bit more of a sleeper or a race car than it is a cruising car. If you like the look of the car but are not interested in the big 2276 engine, I would be willing to change the motor out for a brand new rebuilt 1776 that would be much more suitable for cruising around town with Mom and Dad. The only issue with the car is that it is going to need a new headliner. The headliner was damaged while it was in storage. I do Volkswagen restoration for a living and would be happy to install a new headliner for the new owner at their expense. Though the car has been built to get up and go, it has never been abused and has only about 100 miles on the build. We are willing to deliver the car within 1000 miles in the United States for an additional fee or we are also willing to help by dropping the car off at a local transport to get it to your location at your expense. If you are looking for a vintage Volkswagen then this is an absolute must see! A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 will be due within 48 hours of auction end and full payment due within 14 days of auction end. Please feel free to contact with any additional questions. The car is also listed locally and I reserve the right to end auction at any time. good luck bidding
