Runs and drives and stops
Hardly any rust. Floors are solid, some surface rust on body. A couple previous patch jobs by previous owners, right front and bottom of sliding door.
Rear right tail light has a short, brake and blinker lights work but not tail light on the right side.
Ignition switch is dead but toggle switch and push bottom start always works
I have the original ignition switch as well as replacement EMPI one.
I do have the original sink/icebox that came with it and will be included in sale. I removed it and built a custom rear facing seat and storage area.
I've driven it loaded down with family and gear on 400 mile family camping trips and wouldn't hesitate to drive it farther, but it is an old air cooled vw and there is never a guarantee that you'll get where you're going but you'll always have an adventure either way.
It runs 65mph comfortably, slows down on big up hills.
