1990 Volkswagen Cabriolet Additional Info:

1990 Volkswagen Cabriolet-five speed manual transmission, yellow. 4 cylinder engine. For repair or parts. (PLUS extra new front end grille.) Have had the car for 21 years, am second owner. Car hasn't been driven in three years. Recent repairs were the replacement kit (bushings) for shift lever, brakes, one power window motor. Repairs around 2009: two front springs, new convertible top. Over the years many of the parts have been replaced-alternators, mufflers, steering column, grille, etc. Original engine. Unable to find reliable repair for it, that is why I'm selling.
Included with the car is an additional NEW front end grille (without emblem.) I purchased a second grille as a backup. I had the original grille replaced due to damage from a repair shop.
The car is needs a good cleaning, is actually a bright yellow-have not had time to clean/detail for photos (I take care of a disabled person.) Many repairs over twenty years of use. (Does have finicky fuel injector-always has.)
I personally believe car can be restored if you have the skills. It's a great car!
