1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic standard Additional Info:

1969 VW Beetle, really clean body and pan. 1st year for the IRS (independent rear suspension) which eliminated the dreaded rear wheel tuck-under of the '68 and earlier swingaxle rear suspension. Motor has been rebuilt, newer brakes, tires, battery. Runs and drives,engine idles well once warmed up. Choke is not hooked up, could use fresh gas.Front end seemstight with no pull. Excellent body for a near 50 year old car with only a few minor dings.I see no evidence of an accident. Body panels, hood, rear engine deck all fit well. Bumpers are aligned and look original with minor surface rust. Glass is very good with no cracks. Interior is in good shape, headliner under rear windowneeds some repair, no radio. ebay insists on a mileage, estimate is 135,000 miles but I don't know for sure because the mileage exceeds the mechanical limit of the odometer.All in all it has to be one of the nicest unrestored60's Beetles out there.Amazingly rust free, good luck finding a 60's beetle without a rusted pan. I can't see anyone being disappointed with this Beetle but it is a 50 year old car and issold as is.Paypal is accepted for $300. deposit only. Thanks for looking.
