1967 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Beetle Additional Info:

This is a previous show-winning Survivor built 1987-88 by Scott Anderson @Prestige Autobody in Santa Barbara, CA. It was featured with a 4 page spread in Dune Buggies and Hot VWs July 1988, it was pictured a few times in the magazine including the inside cover/index and Bakersfield Spring Championship show coverage where it took; "Best paint", "Best Interior" and "best daily driver". It was sold in the 90's and moved 40 miles north to Lompoc, CA where it has been ever since. It has always been a driver, so it does show road wear and some damage to the front apron, left front fender and hood which was just pounded back into shape and spray bombed a random pink color, they did not apply any body filler at that time(thanks goodness). The previous owner left it on the street for years, so it has a few rust spots that I detailed in the pictures. This car is a good driver with a basically stock rebuilt 1600cc that was replaced sometime in the last 8 years. The interior is all there and mostly complete and looks decent for almost 30 years old. The front end is adjustable and the rear is adjusted down with air shocks. It currently has a CD player and 6x9's which will be included if sold and delivered locally. I will not arrange shipping, but I can help with delivery within reason. Feel free to ask questions, I also have this for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Thanks for looking and good luck!
