1952 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Chrome Additional Info:
We would like to present to you a great piece of British Car history. This here is a real 1952 MG TD. This is not a kit car, it is the real deal. This is an older restoration on this beauty, but the fit and finish are in great shape as you can see in the pics. You will certainly get a lot of attention in this car because not everyone knows what it is. Be prepared to speak to a lot of people about this car.
The interior of these cars was very basic. There were not a lot of frills, just the basic gauges so you could see everything that was going on with your ride. The vinyl seats are in great shape for the age of the car as is everything else in the interior. this is a car that you just get in and enjoy driving and feeling the wind in your hair.
Now that you have yourself perfectly positioned in the driver seat just reach forward and turn the key foraward, make sure you are in neutral, and pull the starter knob. You are going to hear that 1800 CC motor come to life, it just purrs like a kitten. When they restored the car they upgraded the motor to a 1980 MGB drive train with dual SU carbs and an MGB rear end and 4 speed. All that there is left to do is see if someone wants to go for a ride. Now step on the clutch and put this baby in to first and get ready to go have the drive of your life. These cars are not about break neck horse power. These are about felling the wind in your hair and having a hard time getting that ear to ear grin off of your face because of how fun it is to drive.
