For sale is a Brazilian 1973 VW 15 window Bus. This is a rare opportunity to own a fully functioning and beautiful example of one of the most iconic classics of the 20th century for a fraction of what a US market model would list at.
Both the cosmetic and mechanical condition of this Bus really set it apart from others you see on the market. The body is very straight with excellent paint that carries a nice shine, the interior is beautifully re-upholstered with black vinyl, and the engine is a rebuilt single port 1500 by Ovals VW in Seattle, Wa. Runs very smooth!
The floors are intact and clean as are the rockers and many other common rust areas but there are a couple isolated spots on the frame with corrosion that could be easily repaired if desired. Keep in mind that I am from the west coast where our rust standards are much higher than back east. Please see pictures. Will send more upon request.
The bus runs, drives, starts and stops excellently, and with the brand new tires I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking although I feel they don't truly do the bus justice. It's an amazing vehicle all around that draws a lot of positive attention and puts a smile on everyone's face!
When bidding please keep in mind that this is a 45 year old vehicle and while it is nicer than most of its kind, it is not perfect. Buyer should expect small imperfections, nics, dings and scratches as this Bus was nicely gone through but not a "nut and bolt" restoration.
