1980 Volkswagen Rabbit Gasoline Pickup. Sun Bright Yellow/Black. The 62K miles showing are believed to be original on this garaged and very well preserved U.S. built Rabbit. No significant rust. Repainted many years ago. This pickup has the far superior fuel-injected gasoline engine rated at 76 horsepower, as opposed to the anemic 48 horsepower as found in the diesel models. 4-speed manual transmission. Rare Gem Top 460 canopy specially made for these Volkswagens. The pickup bed has been Rhino-lined and is impressively undamaged...it is doubtful it ever has seen heavy work use. A thousand dollars has just been spent to ensure that EVERYTHING works as it should. Brand new alternator. Slight tear to the driver's seat. Nicely fitted dash cover does hide a couple cracks from sun damage. Starts, runs, drives, and stops all very well. Missing rear bumper, but the brackets are included.
