1967 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Additional Info:
1967 VW T1 Crew Cab for sale. Hard to find. German made (see the pics with the plate manufacturing) . It is a good base for a project. The car is in Guatemala, Central America, but shipping to Europe, USA and Canada is included on the price, please ask for the extra cost if you need the car in other country. All the papers are in order, it is ready to export. The bus is funtional and I drive it daily but it needs to replace some things if you want it for exhibitions: The passengers and the cabin floors, and some little parts of the frame wich support the cabin floor (see the pics) are rusty, some lower parts of the panels should be replaced too like the lower part of the front nose, nothing to serious or too expensive...the bus is very solid in general, prety much better than others T1`s I have seen here for sale....you can buy all these parts at:Wolfsburgwest.com orin many others web sites specialized in VW parts.
At this moment the van has a water cooled 1.6 4 cylinder Subaru engine (see the pics).....it runs very well but if you want, for a very low extra payment I can send you the car with a VW 1.6 air cooled engine on the trunk.....we can talk about that.It is very complete, but some little thing are mising like the gas cap (see the pics) and the cargo door handle (see the pics), the windshield wipers arms are not there neither, but the electrical device which activate them is there and is working, the turn signal control is not the original (see the pics), but it is very easy to find and to buy all these missing parts, there are a lot of parts makers for the VW T1, the headligths are still the original (see the pics with the factory number). The speedometer is not working, since the car was purchased by me, I have no idea about how many miles the car has....Definitely, if you know about VW clasics....this is a good project very profitable if you keep on mind how expensive are these cars when they are restored....(over than 40thoussand dollars easily).I am selling the car because honestly, at the moment, I don`t have the time and the resources to restore it, It is a same to me...but life is like that sometimes.....I have to let it go.In case you are interested to purchase this bus.....send me a message and we can talk about how to do the payment and the shipping process, for sure we can get some system that will be good an safe for the both....of course if you wanna come to Guatemala city to check the car in person it will be a pleasure to me to pick-up you at the airport with this beauty, from many cities at the USA is very cheap to fligth to Guatemala city, with Spirit airlines, and from Europe, flying from London or Madrid.... there are some companys which are cheap too, like pullman tours or wamosair.Thank you.
