1974 Volkswagen Thing- Fresh Cosmetic Restoration -Great car

1974 Volkswagen Thing Additional Info:

This is a very solid good running Volkswagen Thing. Recently took it apart and did a new paint cosmetic restoration. Replaced all seals, rubber and plastic as much as I could find. Brakes have been done, engine tuned and anything else I could find to make it go down the road as it should. New top and side curtains have newplastic. Mileage unknown

Body: Excellent solid body painted with the best paint I could find. Floor pans are solid original except of course the panel under the battery which has beenreplaced.

Engine: Runs great with fresh tune up.

Upholstery: Front and rear seats are not new but are in very good condition.

Front wooden floor slats were built by me out of antique heart pine. Top is brand new . Side curtains have new plastic.

Tires: Tires are not new but are in good shape. Wheels are 1965 Porsche 912.
