GREAT RESTORED CLASSIC BUG!!!
This auction is for a 1968 VW Beetle Classic with Baja kit, that has been restored!Bug is super fun to drive and turns heads everywhere! The rebuilt motor has 350 miles on it.
When I purchased the Bug it had been completely stripped down and repainted with a2013 Dodge Daytona Blue Pearl paint job. Then it sat for 3 years in the old owners garage covered up.I bought it and completed the restoration.This included the carpet kit, headliner, visors,door panels, complete body seal kit along with thehardwareneeded to install it.One piece window kits were also installed.The 1600 dual portengine was overhauledwithafew highperformance upgrades such asdual 34 mm carburetorkit,88 mm pistons and jugs,.010 -.010 69 mm crankshaft,changed the cam to a .476 lift.274 duration 108 degrees,large oil cooler, and new high volumeoil pump with spin on filter for extra protection.Transmission has been replacedwith another one that shifts and works smoothly.
All of the parts that where reused in the restoration where stripped down and repainted.The brake system was also rebuilt with a new master cylinder, new slave cylinders, brake shoes and spring kits.
Pictures have been taken to document the build and a disk will be given to the winner/buyer of the bug.Also, being offered with the car area set of 8 spoke off road rims,a car cover, a straight stingerexhausttip,a new tow bar for easy towing and a VW only parking sign!
