1990 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Trufa Coach Additional Info:
Very good original (Lhd) 1990 Volkswagen 'Trufa' Coach. Very nice interior in exceptionally good condition, never been subject to fag smoke or animals. No visible wear or tear on seat cushions ect. This has the childrens 'hamock' over the engine compartment and original mattress / cushion over the engine cover. Swingable passenger seat and table by back seat. Everything works as it should. The van was undersealed / rust treated from new and is still in good condition underneath too. It has been owned by an elderly couple from new until I purchased it about 3 years ago with a faulty engine (orig jx turbo diesel). The original engine is still standing here. I converted it to full 1,9 Audi / Seat Tdi - Afn motor (110 hp) which has covered approx 230,000 kilometers (same as van). I haven't used the van through the winter periods. It has been stored inside. It had new front brake discs and pads last year and partly new exhaust. The body and paintwork is in good original condition with no dents or dings apart from a 'scrub' on a front bumper corner which I intend to repair now.The van functions well and we have used her on several longer trips without problems. Having said that, I think the motor is currently running in 'safe mode', but as my OBD reader is kapputt I cant connect into the control box to check or adjust the settings, so that needs doing now. The van is still driveable but has no guts at the moment. The motor is solid and sounds nice.Im only selling her as our future family plans require us to move abroad due to family illness.. So she will only be sold to a good home and to someone that knows how to take care of these busses. I reserve the right to withdraw the sale.
