Very limited, Champagne Edition I, 1 of only 900

1977 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Champagne Edition Additional Info:

Up for auction today is this very rare, very cute little Bug with a classy late '70s vibe. (That's why I hung a real glass, tiny disco ball on the mirror. It makes that "groovy effect" on the headliner when the sun hits it!)
Celebrating its 40th birthday this year, it is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.
Floors are perfect; roof and windows operate with ease. It drives straight and runs strong. Everything works as it should, with many new parts so it's ready to go, whether you'd like to cruise it on sunny days or beautiful nights. Anything worn has been replaced or reconditioned, so you may drive it with confidence. This is not a fragile museum piece.
But it's also remarkably rare, as there was only ONE Champagne Edition Convertible delivered to each VW dealer in the US for the '77 production year. There were fewer than 900 made, and who knows how many exist today, let alone in THIS condition.
This Special Edition's key attributes are its unique Tiger Maple wood grain dash trim, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and signature gold pin-striping. It's a real gem; definitely a rolling conversation piece!

But it has been rebuilt and set to zero. It currently shows ~500 miles. This car is ready for another 40 years of fun!
