Runs and Drives great! Clean title in hand! I have owned "Gilligan" for 19 years and this car has always been my most prized possession, but life happens and we have to part.
New: gas tank, muffler, convertible top, ignition switch, battery, pioneer speakers. Also has a CD player with USB port. Strong running stock 1600 dual port engine with single carb! I drove all the way from Pocatello, Idaho to Saint George, UT! Body and paint are in pretty good condition, not mint, but in the 90th percentile as far as VW things go. Odometer doesn't work. Needs a new Fuel Gauge sender (cheap easy fix).
Originally this was an "Acapulco" style thing, the rarest and most valuable edition, and restored to the original condition and paint scheme they can sell for 4 times what I'm asking. I need the cash so no trades. I'm hoping to sell to some laid back hippie/beach bum who'll love it as much as I have.
