Get ready for topless summers! I've had this for a couple years and it was completely restored before me. Kids are in college so time to let someone else have it. Although not a show car it's so pretty people will gaulk every time you drive by. Body in great shape and strong engine. Mostly original except brush guard bumper, luggage rack, interior has super beetle front seats with additional denim covers (keep you cool). The front breaks were upgraded to disks and 15" wheels. Original heater works! Almost new top with no tears. I also have a bikini top. Windowsare removable sliders/glass. Interior was rhino-lined for durabilityand custom removable duck boards installed. Floorboard perfect, even under the battery. I had the door hinges replaced with side mirror mounted ones so even with the doors off you still have mirrors. I have kept this in a car port and only driven in nice weather. I mostly take it out to the local car show or for short drives around town when the weather is nice enough to drive doorless and topless!It does have a few little things that need attention if you want a perfect car but it's a great daily driver.
