1964 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE 1200 WITH RECENT PAN OFF RESTORATION

1964 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Beetle Additional Info:

This is a 1964 Volkswagen Beetle that had a pan off restoration in 2015 and has been driven 300 miles since. The exterior color is Java Geen with Bearer/Brown cloth interior. I am the 3rd owner, nbsp;the car spent 41 years with it's first 2 owners in the same community in Southern Virginia.
This car is chassis # 5781648 and engine # 8716666 The engine and transmission are original to the car. All mechanical and electrical systems were either rebuilt or replaced during the pan off restoration. Engine and transmission were also rebuilt.
All 5 tires are new with only 300 miles on them. It also has anew VW tool kit.
The original radio was rebuilt at the time of the restoration but works only intermittently. It may work for several days or weeks and then not work for a few days or weeks, don't know what the problem is.
Car looks, uns and shifts perfectly. There are no shakes, queaks, r rattles. I would not be afraid to drive the car any distance.
