This van is a beauty! Lots of character...
If you're an enthusiast, or if you've done your research, you'll know this is a GREAT value.
The van's name's Chester. It's the name that came with the van. The family I bought him from had a lot of great adventures with Chester, and they were sad to see him go. Since I've had Chester, I've also had some amazing adventures... and am also sad to see him go.
Some stats:
- Sleeps four comfortably
- Hitch for towing and "sport mode" for such endeavors
- Pop top with no leaks or tears
- 230+K miles
- Engine in EXCELLENT shape
- Serviced by KB Auto in Vista since day one, all records included, clean title
- Transmission rebuilt about 20K miles ago, not perfect, but no problems
- AC works!!!
- Ice box does not
- The battery for the reading lights, etc. needs to be trickle charged, but is good
- Some body damage, but doesn't affect drivability
- Comes with tools, parts, tent, cookware, etc.
- Brakes will need work in the next 10K or so
- Tires have lots of tread on 'em
- Some rust, but has been treated
