1982 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Campmobile Van Camper 3-Door Additional Info:

1982 Westphalia Vanagon full camper with lots of original extras and low miles. I am the second owner and have only driven it about 400 miles in five years so I guess it needs to find a new home. Original 70 HP pancake engine with two carbs to replace the fuel injection. New tires, new brakes, upgrade suspension, new master cylinder, new Bosch alternator, all new fuel lines and new battery all within the last 2 weeks and some other minor adjustments as needed . Super nice original interior to include all surround curtain and even one for the back window as well as a screen for the sliding door all factory. Has A/C which I understand is pretty rare, the compressor has the belt off so don't know the deal there but the fans all work. Also a dealer folding metal ladder for the upper bunk that is never seen from what I've been told. Has both original manuals, two original ignition keys and a water lock key as well. Has cruise but I've never used it, automatic transmission works fine. Engine rebuilt at around 100,000 and shows about 25,400 on new motor on the odometer which seems to be right. Engine is tight and runs very well. Some minor surface rust but nothing through the metal. Stove works, Ref. works, sink needs a fuse or perhaps a new pump, has extra battery under driver's seat. VW cassette radio but not very impressive. Very clean underneath with no rust. The tent which is like brand new until I didn't close it right and now has loss on the front canvas that would take a patch to fix but will leave for the new owner to decide. Nearly a one owner with clear title. Reasonable offers welcome. Mechanic certified with permission to call. He is a top mechanic and specializes in VW's. This bus is very clean and ready to go across country.
