1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

1971 Volkswagen Beetle. I purchased from the second owner who was friends with the original owner. Maintained by Navy airplane mechanic. Meticulously maintained with all documentation. Repainted once in factory color. Many new parts and updates to include the following:Engine rebuiltClutch and flywheel replacedFront end had ball joints replaced and new bushings installed.New tiresNew brakes and adjustmentNew cap, rotors, wires, plugsCarb clean and adjustmentBelt replacedHeater tubes replacedValve cover gaskets replacedThe paint looks good. Small rust areas near rear of both passenger windows near drip rails. Otherwise extremely solid.There is no radio and the heater needs to be hooked up. 
I've been driving the car for over a month and it runs and drives excellent. Extremely quiet even on the interstate.All photos were taken in September 16 and October 16. I removed the window tint.
