1974 Superbeetle blue body-on resto in '01

1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

1974 Superbeetle convertible up for sale. My wife and I acquired this bug from her step-father who had restored it for his daughter back in 2001. The bug is or Californian origin, as far as I know. The body was left on, interior replaced, engine refreshed, NEW TOP, etc...
It's a stock engine that runs as well as any VW I've owned. Starts every time, no smoke, no fuss. Driven on weekends in the Summer only. Always garage kept. No accidents to speak of. Minor body rust is showing up (pictured), but all repairable. Tape deck is inoperable, but we tend to listen to the wind when we drive it anyway.
I am uncertain of mileage, but was told this is the original engine. Odometer shows just under 45k miles.
Heater boxes are present, but not hooked up. All ducting is there. Everything on this bug is functional and in good condition.
Recent work: replaced fuel line from frame to firewall and filter. Oil was changed about 1k miles ago, along with a valve adjustment, which I would be happy to do again for the buyer. I will likely replace the battery with a new one once sold, as well.
Needs: It needs a set of axles, as the boots are torn. Joints are still in perfect shape. I will gladly replace them if asking price is paid, otherwise I can include a rebuilt pair.
All in all, it's a solid bug that's ready to drive!
