One of the rarest of the micro buses is the 21-Window Walk-Through. The standard configuration provided a front bench seat, but this offering has the more sought after walk-through concept, which is fitted with two separate front seats so the passenger can walk to the back of the bus. This Deluxe Samba model has loads of expensive and hard-to-restore trim items, such as full-length “deco” strips of alloy with rubber inserts, model correct bumpers and 21 windows!
This bus has only had three owners and is an original Delaware County, Pennsylvania vehicle. It was in heated storage for over 20 years. A complete restoration took place in 2010. Since that time it has been used only for parades and car shows, turning heads and earning several first place trophies. During the restoration the body was stripped and bead blasted and then professionally painted. It was restored to stock specifications. The bus features a fresh 1600cc engine and an original stock matching interior and headliner. Amazingly, this bus has kept all it’s trim and original accessories since new (bright work, jail bars, grab handles on middle seat, kick plates etc… ).
Below are other additional features:
This is a must-see, complete and carefully restored vehicle. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed the bus. Now with the girls in college, it’s time to sell and pay their tuition!!!
