We are the 2nd owners of this beautiful Montana Bug. Very Rust-free and complete. I have restored hundreds of VW Beetles to various extents and have to say this car was one of cleanest ever. We did a golden restoration using all original and replacement german parts whenever possible with exception to some 21st Century upgrades. Title is clear and in our name. We even have the Volkswagen of Germany issued "Birth Certificate" of this vehicle stating Vin, Engine Case #, Factory color, sale point, etc... Very Cool!

The story(briefly) -
3 years ago I bought this Bug to restore for my wife. She already owns a restored 69 VW Beetle but, being born in 1972 and entertaining the idea of the slightly bigger, stronger Super Beetle always interested her. As the Bug got closer and closer to completion she began having strong sentimental feeling for "Herbie"(the 69). 12 years as the 3rd owner of this California Bug, 6 years past all the blood, sweat and tears of a slow costly restoration/upgrade (Freeway Flyer Transmission, Front Disc Brake Conversion, CD sound system, etc.), Herbie means a great deal to her. After restoring and breaking in the 72 she has been torn and decided to let the market sort it out. That's where you come in!
Make an offer on either Bug!
Plenty of pictures available... During teardown and restoration!
Serious Buyers Only Please!
Happy motoring,
Russ and Mari
