1972 Volkswagon Transporter bus EXTRA MOTOR

1972 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Additional Info:

Due to the original winner "bidding on accident" I am relisting my VW bus.
ThisVolkswagon bus is a great find. It is a 1972 Transporter. The original motor wasremoved which had a bad valve and a newer 1983 (?) vanagon motor wasput into it. The throttle cable does not run directly to the motor as it should because we also installed the $400 Weber progressive carburetor. We just didn't have time to solve this problem.It comes with the original motorand 3 of the original style carburetors that can be reinstalled. It just needs some decisions made on how toget it on the road. This bus starts right up andit runs great, but it isnot quite ready to drive.Included in this sale is one motor installedAND the original motor that was taken out.The brakes and calipers have been replaced as well as new shocks included. It has a BRAND NEW set of tires just put on it last year. They have no miles on them. The starter and alternator have both been rebuilt. The back lock was removed in order to make keys for the other doors. The back seats are in great condition and the front seats are worn. The sliding door works great as well as all of the other doors and handles. The back window has been removed but itIS included. We have started the work by removing all of the old paneling. Also not shown, it has all of the rubberfloormats.
We are the 3rd owner. It was purchased by a serviceman and shipped to the US when he served overseas.
