This B3 Passat wagon is offered up for sale at No reserve.
Body is in excellent condition - few bumps and bruises from being on the road for 24 years. I knew the previous owner, he grabbed this car from texas. Been in nebraska 10 years ? There are a few ding, one in rear passenger door ( hard to get a good pictur, it scratched the paint ) Few door type dings but nothing major - no rust !!
Interior is awesome. Seats are comfortable. Carpet is a lighter grey and is dirty in spots. The rear cargo area is also dirty from use. The rear luggage area cover is actually in place ( hard to find still in these cars ) The seat belts actually work. Original radio / tape player. Sunroof does NOT wor, he told me it didnt work and included one to replace it - its included with this sale as well. I have not tried it.
Mechanically
Fresh cylinder head replacemen, head gaske, new head bolts, timing belt - the intake manifolds / valve cover were powdercoated to make you smile when you open the engine bay. The Ac does not work - it seems it might need charged but i have not diagnosed it - the AC light comes on when you press button on dash but it does NOT blow cold.
Tires are ok not great - the Snowflake rims fit nicely and could use a good scrubbing / cleaning.
This 2.0 16v Passat wagon - runs well. Has lots of life left with the new timing belt / head installed.
