1979 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

Original 1979 Classic CALIFORNIA VW Beetle ConvertibleThis car is believed to have 33000 original miles .I purchased it from an auction a few years ago and the car had been sitting for at least 10 to 15 years . The car has all its original sheet metal and appears to never been hit . The car was in need of a paint job so i kept all the original paint in the jams and just painted the outside of the car ($3900.00 was invested in removal of all items and painting also replaced one section of the pan that was rusty) .All emblems,covertible top and chrome was taken off and it was professionally painted to match the original Aqua Color . The VW has a new Convertible top headline, emblem, turn signals tri, running board, Windshiel, seat cover, trim and lots more . The car was not running so everything was done to tune it up to pass smog .Well over $2500.00 in engine work to get it right .It just passed California smog ! All the electrical works including the original clock . The original radio is missing and there is a few cracks on the dash .This car is a VERY nice restored driver and needs a good home . I have put my number if someone wants to close the auction and buy it but keep in mind I have invested over $16500.00 .
