1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

1965 VW Beetle is obvious. Mint to Near mint is also obvious. The pics don't lie, his is a beauty. Outside the paint is immaculate though there are some imperfections most of which have been repaired and would never be spotted. There is a spot on LR apron near the bonnet that had chipped the size of a quarter, as repaired ok. The tires are genuine white walls in great condition, nd i believe they are bias ply. The fender flares are O.E. from a dealer from the 60's. The underneath is near perfect with only "it gets drove imperfections. No leaks to tell about. Runs great, volt car, rans shifts great, lutch and cable work great (no skipping), as VW recycled 1200cc engine with no serial number from VW. trans appears to be original, nbsp;suspension in good shape, nd rides good, nbsp;easily cruises at 65+. though over 65 is pretty fast in it. Steering is good no slop, rakes are good firm pedal, ires are the fall back in stopping this one. 2" wide tires is kinda like stopping a harley on bicycle tires, ut thats how it was done in the 60's. Font trunk has all appropriate gear, nd covers, asher tank will hold pressure (hose needs replaced though). cardboard gas tank cover is torn on drivers side, ut matching spare tire and wheel, - tool kits, ag style and tin spare tire style, nbsp;jack works (i wouldnt use it though), lectronics cover in good shape. wiring in good shape. all electronics and lights work (even the horn works). oh wait the am only 6v radio doesnt work. my bad. windows are all in good shape no discoloration or cracks, indows cranks smooth and pop out windows are in good shape. dash is great, teering wheel is in great shape though the paint had cracked a lot and it has been touched up not repainted. shifter tight, eater controls work good and smooth, brake works great, eat tracks move smoothly, ront floor vents work though stick and arent easy to move, ront seats in great shape, drivers seat has three tears under the seat back that were caused by the restorer not fully seating the tabs on seat back. They are not visible with seat in normal position). Floor is original style rubber with carpet on the edges. Drivers door panel has loose vinyl but is in great condition, ass side is perfect. Has high end bamboo tray under dash. Rear seat and side panels are perfect, ear deck carpet also perfect. Even has cargo strap on back of rear seat. Does need a new headliner though i sewed it together the best i can and it doesnt bother me. If you look in the pics the drivers rear behind the back seat has a large tear in it. Other than that its in good shape. Heater channels are completely rust free, ompletely factory insulated, attery tray and hold down in great shape, f you took the time to read all this and that, hen you know you are looking at a near perfect near concourse car. If you were to spend likely under 2k with a professional this could be a 1% car. Or you could drive and show like is and will win plenty of awards and receive tons of praise and hear a thousand VW stories. If this will be your first classic VW get your ears ready for all the memories that are about to flood your ears. Its a great car, et in and drive "AIR COOLED FOR LIFE".
