Ready to own an award winning car, this 1965 Triumph TR4 can be that car!
History: I have owned this car since 1977 and have worked on it over the years to get it in tip/top shape. It has always been garage kept. As it stands now, the car is 90% there - what it needs is interior work.

In the 80's the car saw an engine and trany rebuild with new clutch. These components have at most 500 miles on them. The clutch and brake master cylinders are new as is the fuel pump. The wiper motor and carbs have been overhauled by NH's expert British Car rebuilder. The radiator has been overhauled - all rubber hoses replaced. The car runs and drives (the engine pics show the engine running - note the moving fan blade).

The dash is hand made of a solid piece of bird's Eye maple - It looks beautiful.

The paint job (costing in excess of $5000) is a work of art. The body parts for this car were purchased separately from rust-free western cars and include 4 original TR4 solid fenders, 2 doors, 1 trunk lid, and a pristine hood (with no leading-end cracks). The rocker panels where replaced with Roadster Factory panels. All these parts then had their original paint stripped off down to the metal. Then the panels were individually painted and then bolted back on the car.

You can tell the quality of the paint job by looking at the reflection of the trees and grass in the pictures - notice NO waves in the mirroring!

The white stripe is NOT an applied vinyl sticker - it is part of the new paint job.

The paint color is called "Indigo Blue" (pearl coat). This color is very close to the original blue of the TR4A, but much more eye catching.

Since the car was painted after the engine work, the engine compartment was NOT stripped of its original paint. The original paint can be found under the new paint in this case.

The chrome strips between the fenders and the body are all new. The front bumper is a Roadster Factory knock-off. The rear bumper is the original and needs re-chroming.

Additional new parts:

. New Clutch.

. New Brake Master Cylinder

. New Clutch Master Cylinder

What's needed.

. The car needs to be driven!

. The interior-work needs to be done.

. Car has no carpet.

. Car seats need to be redone (I have the leather seat covers, but not the foam, etc).

. The side mirrors need to be installed.

What else:

. 6 boxes of original parts, including original AM radio, original jugs and pistons, rocker arms, plus many other parts too numerous to mention.

. 1 pair of beat-up old TR4 seats to be used as frames for new seats.

. Original mileage on car is about 75000. Mileage on rebuilt engine, tranny, tires is about 500 miles.

You can probably guess I'm not going to let this car go for a song, but if you seriously want a show quality car, and are willing to complete the job, this is the one to get.

This car is sold, AS IS, where IS.
