Owners Comments
“This unique Triumph was custom-built in the early 1970s by Bruce D. Wright, who transformed a 1964 Triumph TR4 into the one-off V8-powered “TR350.” The build was commemorated by a brass plaque attached to the glovebox door. The current owner purchased the car in worn condition and had it professionally restored by Fred and Jody Schmidt, bringing it back in line with Wright’s original design and its distinctive 1970s hot-rod character.
The car features a rust-free body and a unique combination of classic British styling and American V8 performance. It has been shown extensively over the years and has participated in the “Damn the Torpedo Rally.” Stunning paint and a unique exhaust note, the TR350 draws a great amount of attention. The owner has chased Triumphs since the 1980s and considers this one a truly special example.”
