I have owned, serviced, and restored British sports cars for over 50 years. I drove an MGA and Triumph TR3 to high school in the early ‘70s. I restored a ’54 MGTF ground up and have refurbished dozens of British cars including MGB, MGA, MGTD, MGTC, Triumph TR6, TR4, and Austin-Healey 3000. I know these cars as well as anyone and can attest that this 1960 Triumph TR3A is an excellent example of the highly desirable Triumph TR3A mark.
This Triumph TR3A was owned for 40 years by a gentleman in Williamsburg VA who took it to car shows all over VA and NC. He was very active in the Williamsburg and Chicago British Car Clubs.
Correct 2 Liter 4 Cylinder engine. Oil Pressure 60 lbs
Rebuilt correct dual SU H6 Carburetors. Balanced and tuned. New fuel pump. Fuel system cleaned out front to back (tank thru carbs)
NEW battery.
NEW Tires on clean original wheels with original wheel covers
New brakes front and rear.
Clutch master cylinder rebuilt and new slave cylinder
Clean black interior with good carpet. Good seats with no tears. Nice dash. Good top. 2 set of side curtains – both in avg/poor condition. Buyer can likely put together to make a nice set.
Restored original tools – jack, lug wrench etc
