1962 TR3B Licensed Driver, Great Project Car
This nearly rust free barn find is complete with a very few exceptions starts and drives well.
As you can see in the extensive photos this is a perfect restoration project. The only rust is in the right rear fender area and appears to be easily remedied. This car comes with many of the parts needed for restoration as well as new Moss motors carpet set, new stainless front and rear bumpers, 5 new tires w/ tubes. There is also a new Moss motors gas tank installed. Everything appears to work except the turn signals, horn and speedometer. A replacement speedometer and turn signal are included with the many spare parts included. The black top is in great shape and the white tonneau cover needs the zipper repaired.
The car is currently licensed and insured and test drives are available. The research I have done shows the VIN= TSF224L that only 530 of these TSF-prefixed cars were built, and they retained the 1991 cc engine and a transmission with no synchronizer on first gear. However the engine serial CT39767E CT" prefix was used for TR4 engines, which were produced from 1961 to 1965. Based on available production data, engine number CT39767E would have been manufactured in 1964. This indicates the engine is 2,138 cc and the transmission has syncro’s into first gear with no overdrive.
The only missing parts that I am aware of are the brackets for the new front and rear bumpers, the T R I U M P H badge for the front and side curtains.
