Vehicle Original VIN : TCT103539UCFGR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this low mile Triumph TR7! This impeccable vehicle comes in a brilliant Vermillion Orange paint job with black accents complemented by a black convertible top and a clean Black with Orange Plaid interior. The convertible top is in excellent condition and functions as it should. Powering the TR7 is a very well sorted 2.0 liter 4 cylinder motor mated to a crisp manual transmission. This example recently came to us out of a small private collection and before that it spent its life in California. With only 24,927 miles on the car, it is in excellent condition and the mile are believed to be original. The Triumph TR7 is a sports car which was manufactured from September 1974 to October 1981 by the Specialist Division (latterly the Jaguar-Rover-Triumph division) of British Leyland in the United Kingdom. The car was launched in the United States in January 1975, with its UK home market debut in May 1976. The UK launch was delayed at least twice because of high demand for the vehicle in the US, with final sales of new TR7s continuing into 1982.The car, characterized by its "wedge" shape and by a swage line sweeping down from the rear wing to just behind the front wheel, was commonly advertised as: "the shape of things to come".
