This is a stunning 1974 Triumph TR6 with 40,315 unknown miles on the odometer. This car is finished in Carmine Red with a complementary Black vinyl interior and Black Vinyl roof. Overall, this car is in exceptional condition.

This 1974 Triumph TR6 has been a project for the last 12 years and has just been completed and passed Massachusetts state inspection. Before work was started, this was a rust free car both frame, and body. All the floor pans and trunk floor are original. See the undercarriage pictures. Here is what we know has been replaced and refurbished as documented with receipts with thousands of dollars funneled to Moss Motors and Rimmer Bros coffers!:

- New clutch and slave cylinder (Work performed at Burnett's Garage in Wenham MA)- Replaced gear ring on flywheel (Work performed at Burnett's Garage in Wenham MA)- Repainted original color (5 years ago but not driven until now, washed and waxed once May 2024)- COMPLETE NEW INTERIOR

- EXTERIOR

- 5 Brand New Redline Tires (205/ 70R 15)- 4 New Beauty Rings- New Heller Spot Lights- New Bullet Mirrors- Convertible Frame Sand Blasted and Powder Coated- New Convertible Top

Mechanically the car runs and drives really well. her 2.5 liter, inline 6 which we suspect was rebuilt at some point. Why do we think that? Because the oil pressure on startup is close to 100psi and when warm, consistently at 50psi at idle and the results from a Compression test performed May 31, 2024 produced reading from 135psi to 145psi. Clutch is new and the 4 Speed gearbox is smooth and effortless. Brakes are very good. Moved the distributor to accommodate Weber timing and will likely need a new Tach Cable but that will be resolved.

Overall, this car is outstanding and a definite car show winner. We have the Union Jack decals for the rear quarters as well as padding for under the bonnet. Lot's of spare parts which were taken off the car and replaced but are still serviceable.
