You are bidding on a 1957 small mouth TR3 . There are very few small mouth TR3s ever for sale. In September 1957 Triumph started with the wide mouth TR3A car. I personally like the looks of the small mouth car and they are much harder to find up for sale..This car belongs to a friend of mine that has way too many cars and asked me to start selling off some of them as he doesn't use them all. He favors his TR250 out of his collection. He purchased this car and just never got around to getting it registered. It does start up and run and drive and he has a clean title for it. I'M SURE THE CAR HAS MORE THAN 30,336 MILES ON ITIt has the wrong amp gauge in i. Looks like a TR6 amp gauge with flat glassThe engine pulls strong with no smoke. It holds 60 pounds of oil pressure. It had been sitting for almost a year and started right up. It has a spin on oil filter kit and electronic ignition. It has an overdrive transmission but the overdrive doesn't kick in. Not sure if electrical or internal. The transmission shifts good. The brakes work well with a good hard pedal. The bodywork is a 10-20 foot car. At that distance the car looks nice but there are some lumps and bumps. I put it on a lift and it looks very solid with just a bit of rust in the passengers floor. Very little. The fresh air door has been repainte, after the car was and doesn't match the color very well.It has an aftermarket hardtop that is painted the same color as he car. It has a roll ba, installed behind the sea, as well. The interior is ok . The carpet and seats look to have been redone years ago and in very useable condition. the seats are not torn. The top on the car has had windows replaced but is showing it's ageAll in al it is a very good car to run and driv, as is .Looks good going down the road .It looks like somebody has put in a new wire harness but never tidied it up . I'm guessing the guy he got it from just wanted to drive it and have some fun. He wasn't worried about getting a trophy in a car shows . He just wanted to drive it and have fun.PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING AS I DON'T WANT ANYBODY TO HAVE BUYER REMORSE OR BACK OUT AFTER WINNING .A $500.0, NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION. THE BALANCE TO BE PAI IN CASH UPON PICK UP ORWIRE TRANSFER .
