STK 3589 1973 Triumph T6 The Triumph TR6 is arguably the most popular and best-built Triumph sports car of all-time. Triumph manufactured over 94,000 of the TR6 model and shipped them world-wide. This '73 TR6 has been carefully restored to virtually original condition. The car received a professional respray that is a shade different than the original British Racing Green. It is in very good condition and chrome/stainless are excellent. Factory 'road' wheels w/centers & trim rings mount 15" Toyo radials. The convertible top and frame are in good condition with only some minor canvas blemishes. The interior has been restored and appears very much like it did in 1973. Its tan leather upholstery is also in very, very good condition and the walnut veneer dash is fitted with full factory instrumentation and an aftermarket Sony AM/FM/CD sound system. All TR6s were powered by Triumph's 2.5-liter in-line six. US versions were delivered with dual Zenith Stromberg '175' carburetors. We do not have a full history on this engine so we do not know if it has been rebuilt, but it sounds great. The engine is backed by a four-speed fully-synchronized manual gearbox and cooling is managed by an aluminum radiator. The chassis is equipped with rack-and-pinion steering, power slotted-disc/drum brakes and independent semi-trailing-arm rear suspension. This is a solid, classic TR6 that is a good investment and fun to drive. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
