I am selling this Triumph for my father.
The Triumph TR 6 is recognized and appreciated as the last of the traditional English roadsters. It is arguably the most desirable of all Triumphs due to its excellent road manners, great performance, and fully independent suspension.This example is equipped with the optional overdrive which makes highway cruising so much more appealing.We acquired the car from an estate. The previous owner died in 1985. It had been stored in a garage since that date and the last known operation of the car was in 1996. 68,954 original miles.It still has the 1979 Fort Worth, Texas TCU “parking permit” decals on the rear bumper…. Easily removed if desired. 1972 Texas license plates included.Although dusty and dirty emerging from the long-term storage, there was no rust anywhere on the vehicle. There is a ding on the hood about the size of a penny. No body damage, the convertible top, side glass and windshield are all in outstanding condition. The upholstery, door panels, carpet, dash and instruments are very good.The paint was polished and presents very nicely.

BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER, REAR BRAKE WHEEL CYLINDERS, FRONT BRAKE ROTORS/ PADS, REAR SHOES.5. CHANGE ALL FLUIDS & FILTERS, GREASE6. ALTERNATOR,PLUGS,POINTS,CONDENSER,DISTRIBUTOR,CAP, PLUG WIRES7. BATTERYAdjust:VALVES, LINKAGESRebuild:
PDWA VALVE, CARBURETORSInstall:NEW 185 x 70 x 15 VREDESTEIN TIRES.( Correct British size. Slightly larger than generic replacements)
Overall a beautiful, authentic TR 6 with overdrive, chrome bumpers, chrome luggage rack, wire wheels, factory AM radio,two keys, shop and service manuals, full tonneau cover, color matched top boot, beautiful maroon paint with deep tan upholstery. Thousands of dollars invested in replacement of all the parts required to ensure proper operation and performance. Receipts included.Values are rising steadily, particularly for the “chrome- bumper” models with overdrive.
