1980 Triumph 30th anniversary edition TR7 Cabriolet. Has dedication plate on dash. I don't know too much about the history of the car but it seems to not have been exposed to winter weather or salted roads. It appears this car underwent a restoration some time in the past. The beautiful metallic orange paint is quite striking and unusual. The car runs strong and seems to have had engine work done to it in the past. No smoking or burning oil and runs stronger than normal. It starts easily and runs smooth. There is no body damage and a few paint defects that are generally not noticeable. No large dents or scrapes. The boot is missing the holding strut and there is no key for the boot. The passenger door has a small paint scrape that has been repaired. There is very little surface rust anywhere and no rust perforation. I have spent about $2500 on the car since I bought it. A professional installed new original Tartan style seat covers imported from Rimmer Bros. in England,. Installed refurbished Triumph wheel covers, new Toyo Eclipse 185/70 R13. tyres, new leather steering wheel, new rear suspension springs and shocks. repaired gas tank. new rear deck carpet. fixed snaps on deck cover. New front and rear brake line parts are included but not installed. Rear differential was opened, inspected, cleaned, and refilled for this sale. 5 speed transmission shifts easily with no grinding or syncro problems. new OEM style front spoiler is included but not installed The soft top has been removed for repairs to the snaps. It is included but not installed. The soft top had a small rip and was repaired in the past. it is functional and keeps the rain out. I have extra parts I have not yet installed. I have a new factory style spoiler for the front, new strut inserts and springs for the front as well as strut rebuild parts. All extra parts included. The extra parts add up to over $1000. Previous owner installed a thermostat controlled electric fan and removed the motor driven fan. I added a low pressure electric fuel pump. An aftermarket ignition coil has been installed. turn signals horn, and pop up lights work. The only bad thing I can say about the car is the fuel gauge does not work, but I will include a new sending unit with the car. Also included is a black front bra and the carpet dash cover. Dash has no cracks. The clear coat around the bra area is a little scratched and could be buffed out. The car is reliable and I have gone on several long trips.
