This is a very beautiful Triumph TR6, rust free, well maintained that is very reliable and drives
well. This TR6 has an older repaint and a nice new interior.
The paint is factory correct Carmine Red, it has been well cared for and is rust free with no sign of
accident damage. The car appears to retain its original floor pans and other metal. The car has
been driven and enjoyed so there are a few minor blemishes in the paint. A couple paint chips have
been touched up and are shown in the pictures. The glass is in great shape with no pitting or cracks. All
of the chrome and bright work are in good condition with no major blemishes. A set of Yokohama tires
were recently installed. Overall, the exterior of this Triumph is in good condition.
The seats were redone professionally a few weeks ago. The carpet is in excellent condition with very
little signs of wear. The door panels and also the interior panels are new. The convertible top is in good
shapeand doeshaveone small split in it that has been patched and does not let the outside elements in, it
also comes with a Tonneau cover which is in good shape.
The windows are easy to see out of and are not yellowing. The top does have one small split in it that
has been patched and does not let the outside elements in. The dash wood is in very good shape with no
cracks. A modern AM/FM/CD radio has been added. The dashboard features the correct Smiths gauges
with gauges working. The windows operate as they should.
Mechanically the car is as good as it looks and runs like a great. There is no smoke on start up or while
driving, and the motor has great oil pressure. As with most British cars, this TR6 does drip a couple
drops of oil. The Triumphs inline 6 engine has plenty of power to accelerate this lightweight car with
ease and sounds amazing. The engine is mated to a 4speed transmission that shifts great through all the
gears. The suspension was gone through with all the bushings, springs, etc replaced. The steering is nice
and tight. The brakes have been completely rebuilt and the car stops with ease. Overall, this car is
mechanically sound and ready to be driven.
I am selling this car so I can effort to start restoration on two other cars that I purchased recently.
